Just about any German beer is way better than just about any American beer.

Taken as a group, there is no comparison.

Yuengling, Harvest Moon, Shinerbock, Amber Bock, Beck’s Dark, you can’t go worng with these. Also, most of the Great Lakes Brewing Company’s beers are very tasty.

Heinken has that “skunked” right from the factory taste. You can get the same flavor by buying a case of Busweiser and leave it in your garage from late summer to early spring. About 20-30 freeze-thaw cycles should do it. Then crack it open to enjoy that smooth Heinken funk.

neither of those beers are american…and the us produces some of the worlds best beer from rogue brewery in oregon to dogfishhead in delaware. (2 amazing breweries).

if you like to be social, bud lite. you can drink about 20 before an actual “buzz” transpires. If you like to drink beer for taste and effect, try Flying Dog Gonzo Ale, Golden Monkey Belgium Strong Ale, or Chimay Blue. These are STRONG, flavorful beers worthy of compliment. However, drink with caution, as about 36 oz of any of these beers may produce a somewhat “drunken” state of being.

Larry, if you are going to say that all American beers suck, don’t list a beer like Labatt Blue as a far superior beer. Although I do enjoy it, it is no better than Yuengling or anything from Samual Adams. And by the way its Labatt Blue, not Labatt’s Blue.

There are many beers produced in the US that stand up to any produced elsewhere in the world.
Budweiser is not one of them in my opinion but it is a classic lager and tastes like it is supposed to taste. Its a little bland for me, I like stouts.
