Holy Birman cats are soo cute and sweet. They wait for you when you come home, want to cuddle in the morning but need attention for playing, too. Don’t need much grooming and have these diamond blue eyes you just fall in love with on first sight.

i love my himilayian cat! He is gorgeous and soft and loving. I think they are the top breed.

Dennie, you rock. I had a Manx once, and they are the sweetest things. She practically was another parent to me when I was little.

Right now I have a girl who’s tabby/Siamese who is a love, but a bit (a lot) skittish. I also have a little red tabby boy who has just the sweetest demeaner. I’m not sure he has any blood in him other than American shorthair, but he looks a bit LaPerm or Abyssinian. He also is an attention hog who wakes people up at 6 every morning.

Maine Coons are loves, but they’re often out of their minds. Very intense.
Persians usually only adopt one person, so they can be hard for families.

I think that a tuxedo cat is the best cat in the whole world. It follows you like a dog and is much smarter than a dog. It is also faithful and intelligent. It is also not fussy like other cats.

The most wonderful breed of cat to own and love is the Manx. They are sweet, loving, and amazingly playful into their later years. My family and I have loved and shared our home with a succession of wonderful Manx over the last 40 years. We wouldn’t be without one.

The Ragdoll is a great substitute for the Persian if you are looking for fluffy, laid back devotion and affection–The hair is shorter, but is very soft, thick and it stands away from the body giving the super fluffy appearance of the Persian. The ragdoll’s fur can mat and the cat has to be brushed regularly, but it is not the nightmare of the persian coat.
