The British Broadcasting Corporation has just announced its results of a survey in which more than 28,000 people were polled in regards to their opinions and attitudes towards thirteen major countries around the world. The results are not startling due to so many countries currently pursuing military power around the world.
It should be noted that 1,000 people in other popular countries like the US, France, Germany, India, Egypt, Turkey, and Mexico were also involved in the survey.
Israel is at present the least popular country in the world with a 56% negativity rating, while Canada ranks as the most popular with a positive percentage rating of 54%. Other rankings include the US and Russia in unpopular eight and ninth places with Japan, the EU and Canada rounding off the top three most popular countries in the world. India also deserves mention as this and similar polls show that the country is steadily improving its popularity around the world.

i love to stay in canada. i love canada somuch.
in my opinion i think that this list is right but what people r saying about the phillipines disgusts me. i mean it does have 7,000+ islands but who cares it has a low employment rate which is why there are many filipino’s emigrating, it also is a very crowded country as there is around 91 million people living there, it has massive floods which isnt very appealing the government is corrupt which is probably why it is so poor and the people are the most arrogant, unfriendly, untrustworthy people i have ever met and they just dont admit to it.
Philippines is the best even though you guys get angry vote…..:)

I think upcoming years nobody can beat INDIA. It is fast growing country in the WORLD. The drawback in INDIA is, too poor people, and more corrupted politicians, if that is removed then nobody can beat us. We will not be destoryed by anyone because, we have rich traditions, culture values, Love & affection, Unity in diversity, etc., It makes us peace always, eventhough we have frontier problems.

6. china/hk/tw (been there. like the 人情味. appreciate and respect the peacefulness).
7. africa (never been. met many africans diaspora. seem to be decent people).
8. russia (never been there. met some russians. seem to be nice).
8. japan (never been there, dont know that much about it. have not met many japanese citizens).
9. usa (been there, found the people there to be most friendly, but met the most evil, and malicious people out of any country. this is a country that makes its money off of other peoples miseries, and wars. also known for framing others to get the best results for themselves. i can write an entire dissertation about why this country is bad news, but also lots of good things about it, such as entertainment, food, infrastructure, and alot of things i enjoy).
10. europe (been there. boring. everything closes early. people are not friendly, lacking 人情味. is not in the spot light for being dodgy like the usa, but is dodgy behind the scenes and milking off of american imperialism. this continent makes a lot of its money through unethical means).
11. new zealand (been there once. this is an improved version of australia).
12. canada (been there many times, also the 51st state, and doesnt have the achievements of america, sponges off of america, has no identity of its own. unfriendly country. this country is an exact copy of america, but lacks many of the things that make america great, such as entertainment, food, friendliness, trust, etc).
12. australia (been there, and think its the 51st state, except it doesnt have the achievements of america. a hateful country that does not respect human rights).
13. israel (never been there, but find their country to be very hateful, abusive, and dodgy in general).
i think the united states of america is the most popular country in the whole world no matter what!!! canada i think is the second one and then united kingdon with all the countries inside it, then france, italy, germany, spain, china, japan, australia, india, mexico, brazil and venezuela. the rest of the countries are so off!!!

You obviously didn't pay close attention when you were in Canada.
TURKEY is the 7th most visited country in 2009, and it's one of the most popular countries in the world. (Without marketing expenditure) People prefer Turkey for it's awesome locations also friendly people.

The exact survey was done by the BBC and Germany was ranked #1. Why is Germany not included in this survey here? Neglect? hardly. It appears intentional. Brits… never liked us.

Canada was placed number 1 because there considered the peace keepers of the world and for people who say USA should be # 1 it wasnt because most people believe Americains to be demanding, ignorent, and war causing ( hence every major war has had Americians involved recently just for Oil to make money). I'm not saying all Americians just majority are considered to be.
