i have had cockers and shih tzu's,they are two of the best breeds of dogs i have ever had.cockers are a little sensitive but the shih tzu are incredible.i love my babes.

We have 2 Mini Schanzures, Chloe 31/2 and Tuffy 3 ( TODAY ) they have great personaliries, and tuffy is a little love bug, Chole thinks she's a pitbull lol They were the best therapy for me after my heart attack.

We have a chocolate lab named Coltrane. He is a gorgeous, loving animal and also the klutziest, most frenetic, funniest creature who ever lived. He makes me laugh every day. Not bad for a papered dog gotten from an animal shelter because his owner didn't want him…he wasn't up to show standards and she was a breeder.

Ya know what really chaps my a**? The A.S.P.C.A. runs an ad on tv something or other about you can donate eighteen bucks a month to save a dog or cat in a kennel somewhere and they'll even send you a nice t-shirt. The wake up call? Go to a local save an animal kennel and try to adopt an animal. The cost is astronomical!!! The bast**ds should apply the eighteen bucks to the high cost of adopting such an animal. I firmly believe they would have far less critters in the kennels if you didn't have to mortgage the family farm to be able to afford to adopt one of the animals kept there. Of course, if you're a softie, and easily led by the sad eyes of a poor abused animal beamed at you over the tv I guess you would find a way to afford the high cost. But if you are, say, a senior citizen, who would benefit the most by adopting an animal as a companion after you had outlived most of yours, there's no way you could afford the outlay of around a hundred bucks to adopt. That's sad. Because both the animal and the senior citizen would benefit. Take that, A.S.P.C.A!!!!!

I have had German shepherds way back and I had a fantastic
Australian shepherd also . Then we adopted a boxer who was
incredible. He was the worst cow dog in Texas, but the best
companion. If my old farm truck started he was supposed to be
in the front seat with me. If I got a hamburger he got one also.
He had his own large mug for his water. I was not prepared for
him to die at 10. Now I have three dogs. A mother & daughter
Shihtzu pair and they have to be the worlds most affectionate
dogs. Our newesty is a Brussels Griffon and he cool

Like the old saying goes, the more I understand people, the more I luv my lab and my truck. how true, they never disappoint you never let you down and most of all they are always there for you when people are not.
yes labs are one species below humans, because they think and know that they are and cant tell the difference

i have a pitbull/border collie
she is so loving but so protective she cant play with other dogs or children she is oooo smart
she will try to KILL anyone she believes to be a threat to me
my 20 year old brother and i were wrestling and she attacked him but i told her to stop and she did luckily she didnt hurt him
pitbulls and border collies as well as other breed's are VERY good dogs but can love their owner a little to much to where they are EXTREMELY protective ^__^
but she just had pups and it makes her calmer ^__^
i love her to death

I have had 3 labs in my life and they were all great dogs. Labs are the best kind of dogs for out in the contry deffinantly not for the city. They get fairly big and the can be loud but thats why you train them. Again they are the best dog and if you get one you wont regret it.

I have several Golden Retrievers and they are the best dogs I have ever had.

When my husband divorced me after 27 years of marriage I was heartbroken. My children got tired of hearing me moan and groan but, my golden, Nala, was always there for me. She helped me, by staying by my side and never leaving my side. I thank God for her. It took me 4 years of crying and still ache in my heart but my Nala helps me carry on.
Thank God for all animals!

I have a pitbill named jada. she is my best friend. They get such a bad rap. Do you know the pitbull was once the number one family dog until the a**holes like Michael Vicks got a hold of them. I trust her completely. She loves playing with children. She also loves taking a bubble bath.

I have a Yorkshire terrier and I know terriers are known to be barkers but I have so not had that experience. He is such a cuddler and a lover. He is so very loyal to both my Fiance and I. I would definitely buy another one.

Here I go again. As much as I try to break myself of bloging I can’t resist a good dog story. I think all dogs are special. Yes Caitlyn(#10) even chihuahuas. Most dogs that don’t “fit in” have their owner / invironment to blame. I presently have three Miniature Pinschers and one Min Pin mix breed. I just lost two Min Pins to old age. All adopted. They are known as the “King of Toys”. They are head strong but off set that with their clownish personality.

I have 2 dogs that I got from the pound. I got my Alaskan Malamute in Anchorage, AK and I got my Siberian Husky here in Largo, FL. and they are the best pets that I could ever ask for. It breaks my heart when people just leave a dog or cat on the side of the road and expect it to survive. I’ve also owned a German Shepherd and a Great Pyrenness but they both got sick with heartworms and I had to put them down and it was heartbreaking doing that. My husband had given me a puppy that a lady was going to turn into the pound my husband told the lady that she didn’t have to do that and he took the puppy we had her for a couple of months then she got sick with the Para Vara Virus and I had to put her to sleep but I had her cremated and I look at her everyday and know that she is not in pain anymore. I think there should be stricter laws on people that if you abandoned your animal or you just let it go you should serve jail time.

Thank you for warning people to pick the right breed for them and not just the popular breed. I have worked in animal shelters for years and I can not begin to tell you about all the animals that are surrendered to shelters because people didn’t research to find out what they could expect when that adorable puppy grew up to be an adult dog!

I have the best dogs and they are in my heart for ever. One of them died by cancer but i still keep him in my heart for ever. I have a little box of hair from him before he died. I didn’t to see him before he died because he was at the vets when he died after the second operation. We wouldn’t have given him two operations if the doctor said he had cancer, we didn’t want to give our baby pain.
I love you so much Sims and where ever you are, you know that you and Sori are the best dogs ever and no dog will ever beat you guys. I love you forever and the whole family misses you Sims. I love you, we love you.

I think Golden Retreivers should be the worlds most popular dogs.They are very intelligent and they become VERY VERY VERY good companions with pepole who are blind or who are disabled.They help pepole in nursing homes to make them feel like they have a friend.The reason I say this is because I have a Golden Retreiver and he is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SMART.He has became very close to me and he is my close companion and no matter what you say he will always be number one to me.Also no matter what happens he will always be in my HEART FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 6 dogs and 4 cats. Not to mention the 3 birds and 3 guinea pigs. I truly love animals and all the ones I have acquired in the past few years have all been off petfinder.com or craigslist.org. My latest was a purebreed bullmastiff from a local animal control facility. Please consider adopting, the animals show their gratitude ten times over with the love they share!
